RIP Ron Asheton.

Legendary and influential guitarist of The Stooges, Ron Asheton was found dead today in his Michigan home. According to a report, police received a call asking them to check on Asheton because the caller said he had not heard from the guitarist in a few days. Police went to his home and found him deceased. Pretty sad day considering he was a huge reason why punk music is around today. I was lucky enough to see him and The Stooges perform twice in the past couple of years. Ron Asheton was 60 years old.
