More Than A Game.

My buddy Kris' movie, More Than A Game is starting to make headlines. What started as his junior year documentary project at LMU has now become a full fledged feature (say that 3 times fast). His subject matter, Akron, OH's St. Vincent - St. Mary High School basketball team. Yup, Lebron James' high school basketball team, no big deal. Well, after 6 years in the making it finally premiered at the Toronto Film Festival this past September. Belman took First Runner Up in the Cadillac People's Choice Award. Not too shabby for your first movie. Plus it's kinda cool to say you lost to Danny Boyle (28 Days Later, Trainspotting) of all people your first time around.
