The Great White Hope.
I remember watching the Pirates back in the early 90's when they were actually good. They definitely had the best outfield in baseball in 1990. Bobby Bonilla in right field, Andy Van Slyke in center, and a skinny Barry Bonds before the steroid nonsense in left. Check out the interview below with the 3-time All-Star, 5-time Gold Glove center fielder. Van Slyke was notorious for speaking his mind, but could back it up with his play. He also punched Barry Bonds in the face, which makes me laugh.
