What I Am Listening To, Vol. 1...

Figured I could start a new tradition here at Farmhouse starting today since it's Friday. I am going to post "what I am currently listening to" every other Friday to give you guys an idea what kind of music The Count digs. If I post it in here, it means I highly recommend it and you should either A) go download it and see for yourself, B) go buy it, or C) all of the above. I am pretty much all over the board when it comes to music, however you will never see any country in here. Well, unless it's someone like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, or a Willie Nelson type, no country music will ever be listed in one of these. For the inaugural post, here's what I have been listening to as of recently...

Dethklok - The Dethalbum. (Thanks Danny)
I normally aren't that big of a fan of death metal, but this album is funny and it shreds.


Lil' Wayne - Tha Carter III.
Who isn't listening to this album right now? Sold over a million copies its first week out. Not as solid as Tha Carter II, but there are some dope songs on here.


Crystal Castles - Self Titled.
I have been hearing Vanished a lot on Indie lately, so I thought I would give the rest of the album a listen and it's pretty good. Plus Timbaland totally jacked the beat for Ayo Technology from here (Courtship Dating).


Doomriders - Black Thunder.
Nate from Converge's side project. It's straight up balls to the wall hard rock/metal. Now if only they would play a show in LA!


Jimi Hendrix - The Ultimate Experience.
I bought this album when I was in the 4th grade and it never gets old. Great for long drives.


Atmosphere - God Loves Ugly.
I've had this in my car stereo for a couple weeks now. Probably listened to it 4 or 5 times since it's been in there. Such an amazing album, gotta give it up to Slug and Ant for their creativity.


Immortal - Battles In The North.
Cold, super fast, and grim; classic black metal at it's finest.
