I didn't know how to start this post off. First I was gonna talk about how I can't stand the Lakers and Kobe Bryant and how I could never get into them even after living in LA for 7 years. Then I was gonna say how I am a Bulls fan and I am not going to jump on the bandwagon just because we suck now (we do get the #1 pick in the upcoming draft *couch Michael Beasley cough*). Or how I think Michael Jordan is the best player to ever play the game, yadda yadda yadda, but I am not. Because even if I think Kobe is a whiny douche, that can't win a championship without a big man (sorry Bill Cartwright and Luc Longley aren't Shaquille O'Neal and Pau Gasol), the fact of the matter is the Lakers are going to the NBA Finals this year and the dude can play. Here's Boom Dizzle of the Warriors rockin' The Hundreds and Adam Sandler looking like he just got done hanging out with Snoop Dogg at the game tonight. Who will the Lakers face in the Finals? I think the Celtics...

Derrick Rose, Chicago's Native Son has said publicly that he expects to be drafted by his home town Bulls. Those very same Bulls who are looking to dump Kirk Heinrich (who has been called Harry Potter by opposing fans since college) because of his lack of productivity... Add to this mix Doug Collins, the soon to be Bulls head coach who last coached in Chicago 20 years ago with a spry young fellow named Michael Jordan. Collins as a broadcaster has expressed the need for a team to have a star player to rally around. You take these components and add to them Paxon's recent botching of the Kobe Bryant trade, and the Mike D'Antoni hiring and his need to save some face with the locals and it seems like he can't pick anyone but who the Kanye Wests are hewing and crying for. This isn't quite Cleveland and Lebron James but it is close. But if the Bulls do take Rose, then that means that the Heat get Beastly. Which means that they would have Wade, Marion, and Beastly, and all of a sudden they suck much less. But fuck these guys let's go dubs. Get me some K. Love.
By the way because of this blog I got my brother HUF clothes for his graduation gift. And the Subway sandwich place on Power Inn Road in Sacramento is staffed with people who all check this blog now. So you are big in the Sac... aaaand boom goes the dynamite.
i know we need a pg, but we also need a big man that can score, get rebounds, and play d. something we never got out of big ben. plus beasley could start and make a difference right off the bat. with rose, we would have to put a trade together most likely to get a big man. why not draft beasley then draft a pg the next round or put a trade together with heinrich and someone else and get a different pg from the situation. that's just me though.
starting line up would be beasley, noah, deng, gordon, and someone good at the point.
championship 2011.
